An update on our classes

Hello Families of Tom's English,

I would like to make a request for our upcoming classes. We are going to start to create scenarios for things that happen on a daily basis, first of all we will work on The Morning Routine. So I would like to ask that the children bring the following to school:

Pijamas
Teddy Bear

We will need these things for 4 classes.

Honestly I couldn't be happier with how the classes are going. With 12 very very clever and keen children we are working and learning a lot.

Quiero pedir una cosa para nuestras clases. Vamos a empezar a trabajar diferentes momentos del día a día, empezaremos con la rutina de la mañana. Pues quiero pedir que los niños traigan:

Sinceremente no podria estar mas contento con las clases. Con 12 niños super super listos y con ganas de aprender estamos haciendo muchas cosas.

The Alphabet

Hello parents,

As the children start to write their names in class and recognise the form of letters, now is a good time for us to start the Alphabet in English. The easiest way for the children to learn is with this song:

Class Update

Hi parents,

Classes are going really really well!! It is great to work with the children in much smaller groups, we are able to do more specific work than when we are 28 in class.

As it is the children´s first year you can really notice the children that are doing these extra school classes, they are the ones that participate and respond the most in class, it is really great to see!!

We have done a lot of work on the colours, covering all the "important" ones. Here is a video of Peppa Pig that the children have watched, it is great to pause and check with them what colours are on screen:
